Pastor Dave Henion teaches Upper School Bible class at Faith Academy.

He attended Central College in Pella, Iowa where he received a bachelor's degree in Sociology and Psychology. He completed a Master of Divinity degree in 1978, and in 2006, he received a Doctor of Ministry degree from Covenant Theological Seminary in St Louis.

Pastor Henion and his wife Sandy moved to Wichita in February 1991 to start Harvest Community Church. They have three children and four grandchildren.

​

Besides Pastoring at Harvest Community Church for the past 20 years, he also resides as the Director of the Chaplains for Wichita Police & Sedgwick County Sheriffs.

Pastor Henion loves teaching students at Faith Academy about their Lord and Savior.
